Our Story
Vintage spirit, modern comfort
Lady V is an independent British brand built around one simple idea: romantic vintage-inspired dresses designed to flatter, with modern comfort. Classic silhouettes sit alongside feminine florals, distinctive seasonal prints and shapes made for confidence across tastes, sizes and moments.
The brand began with a Southampton market stall, grew through a successful eBay store and officially became Lady V London with the launch of ladyvlondon.com in 2011. At a time when vintage-inspired dresses still felt niche, Lady V helped bring the look into everyday wardrobes and made retro style feel accessible, wearable and easy to love.
Today, our collections bring together vintage-inspired dresses, swing dresses, day dresses, maxi dresses, jumpsuits and occasionwear for customers who want colour, shape and personality without giving up comfort.

Our London-based pattern makers and machinists work alongside the Lady V design team to bring each idea to life, helping keep specialist garment-making skills active within UK factories for years to come.

Because we design our own styles and work closely with our production partners, fit and consistency stay central to the process.
